Keys B and Y
Next you will learn the keys B and Y located below and above the home row respectively. B is typed
using left index finger and Y is typed using right index finger.
The picture below shows the positions of letters B and Y on your keyboard.
You will notice that when you reach for B and Y keys with your index fingers, other fingers automatically mimic their movement and straighten out a little bit. This is a natural movement and you don't need to resist it. However, do try to keep the movement as small as possible.
Be sure to return your fingers to their home row keys after pressing a key on the extension row.
In the next lesson, you can start with exercises. Again, give accuracy more priority than speed. With greater accuracy speed will come as you practice hard.
